Be Yourself and Have Fun

Recently while speaking with someone, I shared with her that I had an electric guitar. So I began to confide in her how I have played with every band that ever existed, that I am an amazing guitarist, that I can play every riff and song, and that I can play every song that every electric guitarist has ever played. I am so good, I told her, that God calls me on the reg to perform among the many musical venues that exist in Heaven. That is of course not true, and I of course did not tell her any of that, I just told her that I picked the guitar sometimes just for fun.
She then confessed to me, of their own accord, that they too wanted to have an electric guitar and had wanted to have an electric guitar for some time. She told me that she had been discouraged because she believed that you have to come from a family of musicians to be a musician, or to even deign to consider having a musical instrument upon which to pick out some tunes.
So I responded by telling her that she had to let go of these false beliefs that came from nowhere and that were standing in the way of her dreams, or if not a dream, at least her whims. Life is too short to allow mythical barriers to block one's path, and it can't hurt to try.
I recommended to this person that she get either the Yamaha Electric Guitar Gigmaker bundle, or the Squier Electric Guitar Bundle like I have.

I then recommended that she get a basic method like the Alfred's Guitar Method with a Focus on Led Zeppelin or the FastTrack Guitar Method Book 1.
I then recommended that she give it a shot and play out some tunes.
I hope any reader of this piece to try new things, to try to learn something new, or to try to have new experiences, and especially to question any limiting beliefs or any limiting assumptions that you use to restrict yourself, and decide whether or not these beliefs or assumptions are real or not. Ultimately, I hope you have fun.
